Batik Rayons combine a South East Asian Surface art treatment where the fabrics are dip dyed and subject to a wax resist, with a base fabric made from wood pulp with a very wearable hand with good drape. Since they have been dip dyed they are typically great on both sides. They may be overdyed and have a slight wax residue from having been subjected to this process. They will benefit from being washed and dryed before being stitched, though they will not shrink noticeably. Our fabrics are made in Indonesia and Bali.
