And, the personal assistance you receive from the staff is wonderful and they can answer any question you might pose. Classes offered are great as well! Elfriede and her staff are wonderful. They are always helpful and enthusiastic. They sell beautiful high quality fabric for garments, and are willing to cut swatches and help make suggestions. The selection is truly outstanding.

Elfriede's has a wonderful selection of quilting cotton that I don't find at most other quilt shops. They also have a wide selection of fabrics to make clothing.
There is always great service and very helpful staff, with a great visit everytime.

I visited Elfriede's store with a dear friend who is a bead artist. The minute I walked in, I knew I was in heaven. The selection of incredible fabrics, from simple quilting cottons, to the Liberty of London Tea lawn prints to wool and fabulous silks...She has everything. Elfriede and her staff are the utmost processionals, are are knowledgeable about every aspect of sewing. I had such a great time that even though I am not from the Boulder area. I will be back soon! WOW!!!!

LOVE this place for beautiful, unique fabrics - including imports you can't find anywhere else. And it's my understanding that their Vogue patterns are always half price. If you are looking for one-of-a-kind fabrics and great customer service, this is your place. Please note, though, that the fine fabrics come with a cost to match. Not your place if you are not prepared to pay higher prices for your fabric. I shop here for exclusive outfits/quilts - not for basics that I can get somewhere else cheaper.

Small but mighty! I was in the Boulder area for a long weekend and decided to check out this store on my last day. I'm so glad I did. This store has a WONDERFUL selection of a variety of fabric and buttons. Everything is very unique. I'm a sucker for rayon and I found two different fabrics I couldn't live without. The women that work there are very friendly as well. They helped me figure out a yardage for a pattern I had on deck and pick out some buttons for other fabric I had at home. Their prices are higher than what you find at big commercial fabric stores, but I'll happily pay that for unique fabric that is of better quality. Plus their customer service is wonderful. Boulder is very lucky to have such a great fabric store.

Great personal service!! Although I live 800 miles from Elfriede's, I can still get beautiful fabric from her store. I called and requested some fabric swatches and they were mailed to me immediately. After deciding what fabrics I wanted, I simply called, placed my order, and received the order within a couple days. The fabrics are lovely. Thanks again for your prompt friendly personal service.
