Upcoming Classes
Sewing On Sunday: Work on your own projects, with help and support. Come for half the day ($50) or the full day ($100).
- June 6, 9-4
Easy Summer Dresses: After this class, you should be able to whip out a new dress in an afternoon.
- April 18, 9-4 $100
Easy Shells: Every wardrobe needs a lot of simple shells, in your favorite colors, to layer underneath a suit, a sweater, a jacket, a vest or a sweatshirt! In this class, you will select your favorite shell pattern - a bias or a traditional; a v-neck or a round neck; long or short - by trying on our muslins in every size. We will fit the shell to your body and create a pattern for you to use, time after time. Construction techniques from facings to linings will be demonstrated. If you'd like to stay for the afternoon session, you can get started constructing your first shell from your new pattern. $50 for the morning session. $100 for the full day session.
- May 2, 9-noon or 9-4
Simple Skirts from Fabulous Fabrics: After this class, you should be able to whip out a new skirt in an afternoon. We will be using "Sew What! SKIRTS" by Francesca Denhartog & Carole Ann Camp as our text for the class, which you are welcome to purchase or just play with during class. As they say in the book: "With very little sewing background, some creativity, and some resourcefulness, you can make a playful and wearable skirt tailored to your unique style and shape. This is an opportunity to define your personal style through fabric, color, textures, trims and buttons..."
- May 16, 9-4 $100
